Well, Kish and I decided that we weren't going to stay in Potsdam Friday night. We went to Ogdensburg so we could hang out with the rest of the guys that were going and so we could do a little playtesting. We got there and found Jeff's apartment packed with people all going to the tournament. I was hoping to find a playset of Humility somewhere in the group that was sitting there, but it was no luck. So we sat there from like 7 til almost 11 playing and talking. Everyone was getting hungry so we walked to P&C, when we got there we decided that McDonalds sounded better. We got to McDonalds and pissed the lady there off because between the whole group we ordered 15 McChickens, 2 Double Cheeseburgers and 2 Apple Pies. They had to call people who were leaving back to make our orders. It was wicked funny. I should have known better, but I thought I was going to be able to get soem sleep. I ended up playtesting a little more. About 1am we decide to pull out Munchkin and play a round of that. For a game that should only take about a hour to play, we finally decided to call it a draw at around 4 o'clock. At about 5, Al finally arrived from his long drive up. So he handed me the deck I was going to play and started fixing decks that were being handed to him. We headed out around 8 or so, I rode with Al, Derek and Ben. We stopped at McDonalds for breakfast, I do recommend thier breakfast burritos (although the ones I ate didn't quite agree with me that morning). We arrived in Syracuse about 10:30 and went in. I went to check for the cards I needed and they had them, but they wanted $8 a piece for them. I almost bought the 4 I needed, but Kish talked me out of it (which is good because when I got home and found out I could order them online for $3 each). Well I went 2-5 (I think) in the day and ended up in 51st place. Not my finest showing, I'm not making excuses. Next time i will get some sleep and play a deck that I have had in my possesion for more than 6 hours. Oh well, Next tournament I will have the cards I need for Astroglide and then I will kick some ass
